This electrostimulation device is state of the art and complies with current standards.
The GlobalStim modules can be used directly with the electrodes (1 or 2 modules), or with the belt to which the 2 electrodes and the 2 modules are attached.
The "man-machine" interface has been simplified as much as possible.
The number displayed on the screen (from 1 to 8) indicates the programme selected by the "P" button.
Two graduated scales located on the left of the screen allow you to visualise the power level of the modules.
You will also find 6 control keys :
- 1 key ON/OFF « » (red icon) - short press
- 1 key « P » to select a programme - short press
- 2 key pairs « + / – » are used to adjust the stimulation power of each module.
NB : A long press (1 second) on the "-" key allows you to go to zero level quickly.
1. Start / Stop
- A short press on the ON/OFF button "" switches the device on. Each time the unit is switched on, it performs a self-test on 11 safety parameters. During the self-test, the display lights up for ½ second.
- If an internal fault is detected, all programme numbers will flash. In this case, switch off your device and send it to your dealer's service centre.
- A long press (longer than 3 seconds) on the ON/OFF button "" will trigger the self-test.
2. Choosing a programme "P"
- The programmes are indicated on the right-hand side of the display by numbers from 1 to 8.
- Press the "P" button briefly once or several times. On the display, the programme numbers 1 to 8 are shown in succession. As soon as a programme is selected, the corresponding number is displayed.
- Once the desired programme number is displayed, start your session by pressing the "+" buttons.
- You will gradually feel the muscle work intensify as you increase the power.
3. How the programme works
- The number of the current programme remains lit on the display during the entire programme.
- When a programme is running, the "P" button is inactive.
- However, if you have started a session and wish to change the programme, you must switch the appliance off and on again to select another programme.
- There are 64 levels of power settings from 0 to 64.
- - Segments from 0 to 8: there are 6 power levels, i.e. 6 successive presses on the "+" button to display the next segment.
- - Segments from 8 to 10: there are 7 power levels, i.e. 7 successive presses of the " + " button to display the next segment.
4. End of programme - Stop during programme
- At the end of the programme, the appliance stops automatically.
- To stop the appliance during the programme, set the 2 power levels to zero ("-" button), or press the ON/OFF button
- Emergency stop: press the ON/OFF button
5. Disconnection
Your device is equipped with an electrode disconnection detector.
If there is no contact between the electrode and the human body, the current flow is interrupted on the module concerned.
The first bar of the bar graph of the relevant module flashes to warn you of a disconnection.
If none of the electrodes are in contact with the skin, the current flow is interrupted and the first two bar graph segments flash.
6. Battery level control
Low battery level : Bar No. 6 flashes on each bar graph.
Critical battery level : Bar No. 10 flashes on each bar graph and then the unit switches off.
